Primary User Groups
In order to foster mutually supportive relationships with the goal of enhancing arts and culture within the community, the Board will accept approved representatives from up to four frequent users of the Sundre Arts Development Centre. These users may include but are not limited to public schools, dance, theatre or music disciplines. These primary user groups will be appraised every two years. Since our first production in 1981, Peak Theatre Players has evolved into one of the more successful community theatre groups in the province of Alberta. A number of creative individuals have fostered our growth through our history. As we have grown, happily, so too has our audience.
For seventeen years we worked in the West Country (Seniors' Recreation) Centre in Sundre. As we outgrew it, thousands of volunteer hours and dollars helped bring our dream of the Arts Centre to a reality.
When we start a season, we rarely know how it will end, always feeling that the best play is yet to be discovered. Theatre is our passion. We are amateurs to the core and we produce theatre because we love doing it.
We advertise auditions and events primarily via email as well as in social media, posters, local newspapers and word-of-mouth. If you would like more information, please visit us at www.peaktheatreplayers.com.

The concerts also act as small fundraisers for the facility. The Arts Centre offers a comfortable and fun environment to visit with friends, have a drink, and listen to amazing musicians.

- Tickets are available two weeks prior to each show at the Backwoods Bakery & Cafe in Sundre or online http://sdaas.eventbrite.com/. Please do not call Backwoods Bakery & Café.
