Sundre’s B. S. Productions is proud to present: Disney’s NEWSIES.
Eight performances February 13-22, 2026 at the Sundre Arts Centre: four evening shows, and four matinees.
NEWSIES is a powerful and entertaining Broadway musical, based on the New York City newsboys’ strike of 1899. It’s full of memorable songs, irresistible characters, and lots of dancing. Our singers and dancers will be accompanied by a live, onstage orchestra.
NEWSIES features a cast of 30, ranging from kids, through teens, to adults. You won’t soon forget their energy, their talent, and the story they have to tell you!
Under the direction of Brian Bailey and Jamie Syer, B. S. Productions has produced musical theatre at the Sundre Arts Centre since 2016. Brian and Jamie are pleased to feature Newsies during their tenth season and delighted to collaborate again with choreographers Wendy Read, Lynley Hall, and Paige Read.
Online ticket sales open December 13. Beginning in January, physical tickets will be available at Backwoods Bakery & Café in Sundre, and at the Sundre Municipal Library. Admission price is $28 per person (plus a nominal credit card fee for tickets purchased online).
