The Brooke Wylie Band
Saturday, 28 April 2018

Brooke Wylie is a uniquely Canadian Country/Roots singer-songwriter from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With a signature voice and beautifully-crafted songs, Brooke’s distinct style of music and quirky tales about love and the Canadian landscape span three albums and performances throughout Canada.
Her latest album, Don’t Waste the Silence, is an eclectic collection of emotional pop-country songs and remarkable musicianship. Brooke’s performances are all about entertainment, delivering big, fun songs along with stories and laughter. Featuring her remarkable voice, Brooke’s songwriting is simple yet deeply personal, and set to music that ranges from foot-stompin’ barn-burners to heart-breaking ballads.
Originally from Calgary (Alberta), Brooke lived in Edinburgh (Scotland) and Winnipeg (Manitoba) before returning to Calgary in 2017 for a new start, new music, and new stories to sing. Brooke performs her original music and will be joining us with Jay Bowcott on Guitar, Pete Loughlin on Bass, Garth Kennedy on Keys, and Ben Jackson on Drums!
Please join us in welcoming Brooke and her band to the Sundre Arts Centre! For more information and to preview music, please visit:
